Sanders Explains Shedeur's Actions After Loss
Following Jackson State's 27-13 loss to Alabama A&M on Saturday, head coach Deion Sanders spoke about his son and quarterback, Shedeur, helping an Alabama A&M player up after an incomplete pass at the end of the game.
Sanders praised Shedeur for being a good kid and helping the opposing player, despite the tough loss.
"I told him, 'You know what, dude? You're supposed to do that. Everybody ain't gonna be nasty like these other dudes. Just do what you're supposed to do and you'll sleep good at night," Sanders said.
Sanders also noted that Shedeur is always willing to help others, both on and off the field.
"He's just a great kid," Sanders said. "He's always looking out for others and trying to help them.
Shedeur's actions were a reflection of his character and the values that Sanders has instilled in him.
