Biden and Netanyahu Discuss Gaza Conflict
President Biden spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu on Sunday and Monday to discuss the ongoing Gaza conflict.
During the calls, Biden expressed his support for a ceasefire and called on Netanyahu to do more to protect civilians. Biden also warned Netanyahu against carrying out a planned military operation that could lead to further casualties.
Netanyahu has said that he is committed to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict, but he has also vowed to continue military operations against Hamas until the group stops firing rockets into Israel.
The Biden administration has been working to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, but so far those efforts have been unsuccessful.
